Since ancient times, onsen hot springs have been a means of healing the body and maintaining good health. Our communal bath, decorated with reeds taken from the shores of Lake Biwa, uses waters from "Biwako Matsubara Onsen," a private hot spring source that comes from approximately 1500m under our premises.
In addition to an open-air bath that is 110cm deep, the indoor bath is equipped with jets for relaxing stimulation. Deep soaking and mild massage promotes circulation, which, combined with the thermal properties of the waters, promotes health from within.

Saunas with high temperatures of 80-90°C are said to activate stagnant bodily functions, promoting blood circulation, improving rough skin, purifying the body through perspiration, regulating nerves, and providing full-body relaxation.
We have introduced an auto-loyly system along with the essential cold plunge tub for the full sauna experience.

After warming your body from the inside out in the hot spring, take a break and cool down on the terrace deck chairs. The soft breeze coming off Lake Biwa will lull you into contentment.

Reeds are said to play a major role in improving water quality and grow in colonies in the lake.
We chose to bring this soothing motif to our hot spring baths not only as decoration, but also as a symbol of our commitment to sustainable hotel management as a hotel that coexists in harmony with the rich natural environment of Lake Biwa.
